It’s Sunday

I’m feeling fantastic this morning...
Another new Sunday is dawning.
Ev’rything’s going like clockwork so far
And after church I’m gonna hose down my car!

I just ate a delicious breakfast...

Some buttered toast, bacon and eggs.
This mood that I’m in now I’m gonna make last,
While I go for a mile run to stretch out my legs!

IT’S SUNDAY! IT’S SUNDAY! IT’S SUNDAY!
My favorite day of the week.
A time to do ev’rything my own way
And I don’t have to listen or speak!

Monday through Friday is boring.
Sayin’ “Yessir” all day is deploring.
Saturday’s my day to catch up on shopping,
While watching my savings gradually dropping!

Gonna hop in my car and go cruising.
Later grab a McDonald’s big mac.
After that I’ll drive home for some snoozing...
Watch TV and then hit the sack!
